Hot. Hat. Hel.

Mmmmmm, 39 degrees today. I forgot what it was like to step outside and just bake in the sun with the breeze straight-from-the-oven hot. Time to invest in a hat.
Okay, time to wear the one I've got.
Tomorrow will be back to sane, can-go-outside-during-the-day temperatures and Thursday, concrete-day, will be back up in hotland but relatively mild at 31.
Oh, they're pouring concrete on Thursday, concrete-day, and to share a bit of Christmas cheer we put some tinsel on the trees in front of our block. We're sharing it with the neighbours because I doubt anyone else will go near it this week. I figure I'm safer in a pessimistic bent than a puppydog trusting one because that way, when I'm surprised I get to go "Wow, I got that one wrong" instead of "Oh for crying out loud, I thought this time you'd get it right!" (or words to that effect but a bit more violent and funny)

Speaking of funny we listened to some mindwash radio tonight. They were lecturing on how the earth is around 6000 years old and made in 6 days and the meek will inherit it and meek means willing to learn and that God's will is for people to go forth and understand his creation and science is evil and not fact. I'd rebut that but I don't have to, they already have.
Goodnight.
